What We do
Best Foot Forward (BFF) Professional Services is a non-profit organization offering young motivated and business minded individuals the tools and resources to best establish a professional identity for their job search or career growth. Our services are tailored to support youth at-risk and those facing particularly high barriers to personal, social and economic success. Our team works with youth one-on-one and in group settings to assist in their development of an online and offline profile curated for a professional identity.

When you become a member
BFF Professional Services offers members, at no cost to them, the following services:
We help youth identify their strengths and interests through personalized career assessments to help identify and highlight professional skills sought after by employers, and investment partners where it concerns young entrepreneurs.
We help youth update existing resume or write their first through virtual workshops on resume writing. Our goal is to have youth looking their best on paper.
We help youth present their best online by offering support for members seeking to establish a comprehensive online profile for their career goals. This will include a business portrait and LinkedIn profile development facilitated by a team of experts such as Employment Counsellors, Recruitment Consultants, and Professional Photographer.
We help youth put their best foot forward when preparing for interviews with workshops and resources on interview prep and etiquette. This includes virtual mock interview sessions to help youth feel more confident and prepared before meeting with prospective employers and investors.
We support youth in their job search and share job postings from our partners and additional job banks.

In the community, we partner with organizations supporting youth across the GTA, and in communities who face particularly high barriers to personal, social and economic success. We work with local organizations to host events and workshops centered on empowering youth and advocating for the development of professional skills. The event or workshop can be tailored to the organization’s goals and objectives, or customized for a group experience.
